Our legacy of love

every dog in every shelter is hoping for the same thing - a second chance.

Simon Says Foundation
it's good to have a goal

Why we "woof!"

Changing pet rescue is only one part of our mission. We also want to see the entire system revamped and dog care and education more prevalent.

Simon Says Foundation is providing honest education, transparent rescue work, and philanthropy working toward building a world where there are fewer dogs in rescues and more thriving in homes.

26 years ago, simon captured our hearts

Inspired by one

Simon wasn't just a "dog." He was the truest form of love and taught us dogs give fully, endlessly, and without conditions.

In his honor and memory, we created a 501(c)3 foundation worthy of him in hopes all dogs can live with dignity, respect, safety, and care.

Simon Says Foundation is built from love, backed by truth, and driven by the belief that all dogs deserve better.

For Simon: May 5, 1999-May 21, 2011.

The founder

Stephen brings over 30 years of experience in consumer packaged goods, from managing $70M+ programs at multi-billion global giants to nimble work with turnarounds, startups, and celebrity brands.

He’s navigated and managed every stage of the CPG lifecycle. It’s relevant because it means as an expert, he’s thought of everything from the start. He is definitely no pup to the pack.

For the past decade he’s also been deeply embedded in the world of dog rescue. As a board member of two rescue organizations (one being the largest breed-specific rescue in the U.S. with over 15,000 lives saved), Stephen has personally assisted in the rescue of more than 600 dogs since 2023.

Simon Says Pet & The Simon Says Foundation are his legacy. They are designed from the ground up to benefit dogs, save dogs's lives, and help dog parents be better owners.

Stephen is also pulling back the curtain on the harsh realities of shelters, rescues, and breeders driving toward real, nationwide legislative change.

It is time to end the needless killing of dogs.

What is REAL

Time to cut the waste

There are as many types of rescues as there are breeds of dogs. Our goal is to help clarify and set a single standard of care across all shelters and rescues.

At the same time we will be advocating and supporting state and federal LEGISLATIVE and ENFORCEABLE change to stop the killing of millions of dogs.

Yep. We're different.

Where the Simon Says Foundation sits in the pack

We are here to help, not confuse. That's why all of our support for dogs and dog parents come through 3 pillars.

PHILANTHROPY

We run a lean organization with full transparency. It's a legal requirement. Your dollars help save lives every single day. We can't do it alone, so when you give, you should know where it goes.

ACTION

Dogs aren't going to save themselves. And right now, we need more people who really care about dogs, not clicks. Get out from behind the screen and into shelters and rescues near you.

EDUCATION

Our goal is to improve the quality of life for dogs by giving clear and correct information to their pet parent(s) on all things “dog.” Better pet parents mean happier and healthier dogs.

At our core we are about creating a better future for all dogs. Every dog saved is a miracle and every dog lost is a heartbreak.

So many ways to make a difference: dollars, time, networking, sharing, adopting, and fostering.

Do Something

Without "you" there is no "us"

With over 40 rescues and shelters on board Simon Says is uniquely positioned to support rescues. We have boots on the ground every week supporting saving lives.
